It does look the same. I received another report from a colleague today on one of the newer MacBooks with Intel Iris Graphics 550 GPU. It wasn't reproducible on the newest MBA we have, with Intel HD 6000 GPU, nor on an NVIDIA based GPU. Submitter, please provide about:gpu from your machine. Plaintext copy-paste is fine. Also please test with either tomorrow's Canary (assuming it contains r505155) or this Chromium continuous build: https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html?prefix=Mac/505180/ or a later one from https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html?prefix=Mac/ . Thanks.

I don't see this on my 2016 TouchBar MacBookPro with either 62.0.3202.29 (beta) or 63.0.3227.0 (canary). about:gpu attached.

Note: following up to #5: my colleague's problem, which was flickering observed when viewing this model: https://vr.google.com/objects/7rW7NFLpdpn was resolved after rebooting the machine, and isn't reproducible any more.

Note: Retested the above issue on Mac-Toucbar(10.13) using latest Canary #63.0.3231.0 and unable to reproduce the issue. Kindly review attached chrome://gpu file.

Submitter, please confirm that the flickering is observed with this Chromium continuous build: https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html?prefix=Mac/505146/ and is fixed with this build: https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html?prefix=Mac/505159/ If the problem doesn't happen with r505146, or happens with r505159, please tell us that too.

Sorry, but then this is not reproducible; it's not a duplicate of the other bug. Closing as WontFix. |
