Issue descriptionVersions: 9765.72.0/61.0.3163.108 9901.29.0/62.0.3202.31 Devices --> Eve, Kip, Paine & Squawks What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Login to gMail account & click on Compose button to send an email (2) Change the IME to Chinese and enter "gao gao", make sure the input is printed in chinese. (3) Change the IME to Arabic, start typing. Make sure input is taken from right to left and prints in Arabic. (4) Change the IME to Japanese and enter "kabusiki", verify (5) Change the IME to Korean and enter "gksrmf tkfkd", verify What is the expected result? Step 4 & 5 Verification: Input should be changed back from Left to Right What happens instead? Input is still taken from Right to Left & printed the same way even for other languages like Arabic. IME has to be switched to English to get the input taken from Left to Right. Please find the attached screen shots. Please use labels and text to provide additional information. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report.

Able to reproduce the issue on Firefox 55.0.2/ Ubuntu 14.04.1. Seems it is a gmail issue.

Whether to show in LTR/RTL is decided by gmail page.

This is still happening on CrOS M70 Dev RC # 11021.12.0/70.0.3538.15 - Pixel. Happens in gMail compose window & Google Keep application. Changing the Milestone label so that it can get fixed in the upcoming milestones.
