Chrome Not Launching

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.91 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: I am not sure how to reproduce the problem. Chrome has not been launching for our users, however is found in processes What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? We have ended all Chrome processes, deleted the Chrome folder in the users appdata/local folder and chrome still will not open. We did recently add to the Chrome GPO to change the Start Page URL, to open the Start Page URL at start, and Home Page. I do not know if that would cause this issue. Did this work before? jheikkila54@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue on Windows 7, Mac OS 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 using the latest Canary 63.0.3225.0 and latest Stable 61.0.3163.100 and unable to reproduce the issue. Can see no issues on installing Chrome and launching it. Can you please install the latest Version of chrome and retry the issue. Also request you to please provide us the exact steps where you are seeing this issue and the screen cast for the same. Thanks..

Tested this issue on Windows 7, Mac OS 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 using the latest Canary 64.0.3278.0 and latest Stable 62.0.3202.94 and unable to reproduce the issue. Can see no issues on installing Chrome and launching it. As there is no update from the user from long time ... marking it as won't fix. Please feel free to raise a new issue if any issues in latest chrome channels. Thanks! |
