Google doodle is not displayed in the first tab page after fresh install of the application

Issue description

App Version:62.0.3202.35 Beta
iOS Version: 9.3.5, 10.3.3, 11.0
Device: iPhone and iPad

Steps to reproduce:
1. Fresh install Chrome
2. Launch chrome and navigate to Tab page

Observed results:
Google doodle will not be displayed in tab page, it is displayed on opening another tab page

Note 1: On first run sign into chrome will display the google doodle in first tab page.
Note 2: The doodle is not displayed even after waiting for few seconds before skip sign in in first run.

Expected results:
Google doodle should be displayed in the tab page opened on first run

Number of times you were able to reproduce: 5/5
Bug reproducible after clean install: Yes
Bug reproducible after clearing cache and cookies: Yes
Bug reproducible on Chrome Mobile on Android: No
Bug reproducible on Safari/Firefox: Firefox: NA, Safari: NA
Bug reproducible on current stable build (App Version, iOS Version): yes on M61
Bug reproducible on the current beta channel build (App Version, iOS Version): yes on M62

gambard@ could you PTAL.
I could not reproduce with the doodle triggered by a flag. I will try to reproduce next time a doodle is displayed.
