opacity modal sometimes makes unexpected shadow

Reported by tag.y...@gmail.com, Sep 26 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. use the reactstrap to create a modal
2. launch the modal
3. the shadow/project of the background content appears.

In most cases/pages, the browser work well. but in some cases/pages, there are unexpected projection/shadows.

I visit the same page on Firefox, and it render the page as expected. I think it's a bug of chrome

What is the expected behavior?
the projection/shadow of the background content appears randomly, and there should not have the projection/shadow.

What went wrong?
the back shadow cover doesn't make the whole background content fade.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)

I test the same page with Edge and the older chrome, and the page rendered well. I think it's a bug in the late release

open the index.html in the chrome browser(my version is 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)). Move the cursor, you should see the unexpected shadow.

I think this may be related to issue 770354 . (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=770354)

Could you please check the attachments in that issue and write there if this is the same that happened to you?

I was able to solve this by changing the color of the modal backdrop from hexadecimal syntax to RGBA syntax (as shown in the GIF attached).
