If you're not seeing text on your desktop or in the Windows control panel, then it sounds like the issue you are experiencing is not specific to Chrome. If it's not a Chrome bug, I'm afraid we can't help you so I'm going to close this issue. Assuming you've already tried restarting your computer, you could try the Windows system restore feature, as outlined here: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/ It's possible that this could return your Windows installation to a previous state before the problem arose. |
