"cit restart" hangs and dumps huge amount of data in my home dir |
|||
Issue descriptionTrying to do a self-service master restart: $ cit restart chromium.fyi -r jbudorick -b 765335 Fetching infra@cit into /usr/local/google/home/hwennborg/.chrome-infra, may take a couple of minutes... 30 minutes later it's still running with no hints of progress. It does seem to have dumped 2.5 GB of stuff in ~/.chrome-infra though, which seems very wasteful.

That's exciting, and I've never seen that before. Passing to hinoka to see if he has any insight.

3GB is expected (holy crap our repo has grown much larger than i remembered.... We might need to switch this to a cipd package instead) Freezing forever is unexpected. Can you go to ~/.chrome-infra, run "gclient sync -vvv", and post the output??
