Could this be the same as http://b/66971802? If so, we've seen it on M61 too (from 9765.79, at least).

I'll reimage my buddy with the M63 and see if I can still repro.

Does http://b/66971802 fail to load the keyboard for every case of just those fields in enrollment and OOBE?


I only saw this on a buddy. I don't recall whether I enrolled it with the virtual keyboard or by connecting a real keyboard. Afterward, the virtual keyboard failed to load for all inputs on the UI.

http://b/66971802 is only in enrollment afaik. That might indicate that it's a different issue altogether?

Just imaged with 9916.0.0, and pushed a custom build to work around an issue with kiosk apps starting on that build. 

Confirmed that this only impacted the virtual keyboard in the app. The virtual keyboard still appeared during enrollment on my buddy.

Also confirmed that /usr/share/chromeos-assets/input_methods/input_tools/config/h
otrod.js is present.

I'll image to R63-9972.0.0 and see if this is still and issue.

Just confirmed this doesn't reproduce on my buddy with 9972.0.0. Closing.

I'll reopen if I see it again.
