Chrome keeps focusing on sign in tab. Unable to use chrome. |

Issue descriptionChrome: 61.0.3163.91 unknown (I've got this from chrome --version because I can't even open chrome:/version) OS: Goobuntu / Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS / 14.04 201709TL2-1 Here is the behavior when I start chrome. * It opens sign-in in a tab. * Closing sign-in tab, which closes the browser window, reopens the browser window with sign-in tab. * Setting focus to omnibox re-focuses the sign-in page's "email or phone" field. * Activating another window (like terminal) re-activate the chrome window * Switching to anther tab, but it immedidately switch back to sign in page. * I signed-in, and it looked successful, but it reopened the same sign in page. * I could open incognito window, but it immediately set the focus back to the sign in page. * "menu->exit" does exit the browser. It's basically "unusable" on my machine (glaptop). erg@ do you have any clue? Here is the video. https://drive.google.com/a/google.com/file/d/0Bx_xtqaB0-v0Qlo1b3JaN08xWVE/view?usp=sharing

I rebooted just in case, but it didn't help as expected.

Looks like this is caused by an extension. Unfortunately, I can't really troubleshoot because I can't even see chrome://extensions. I could uninstalled corp SSH, and open VPN extensions from browser UI, but it didn't help.

Potential dupe/related issue: 764735 . Owen, this looks like a forced signin issue. Can you please take a look?

Assign back to bsazonov as it's not related to Chrome policy
