When you say "Developer Reset" are you transitioning the device to developer mode? That requires a power wash, which resets all settings to the default.

The wifi has been causing issues for about 3 months. I've contacted Chrome support, Acer and they say it may be the card. However, it acts up at weird times...which really makes me consider the laptop's been hacked. When I power/refresh/esc into developer mode, it still freezes and turns on bluetooth (which I've never used on this laptop). I'd rather remove bluetooth and reinstall from a browser of Chrome if at all possible, and makes sense?

I'm sorry but developer mode is not supported as a configuration.

Can I install along side Chrome OS in Linux? Or reinstall from kernel? How to if so?

Linux / Chrome OS side-by-side is not a supported configuration either. If you want to install Chrome OS freshly, please refer to these steps: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1080595?hl=en
