Search box in NTP page bleeds out of screen.

Precondition: Add Chrome-Suggested sites and Chrome Quick Actions to Today’s view.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Launch app, open a  new tab and go to any website.
  2. Swipe down today’s view and tap on “New Search” from Chrome-Quick Actions
  
Observed results:
NTP opens where in the search box is too long .

Expected results:
Search box in NTP should not elongate.

Number of times you were able to reproduce: 5/5

I could not reproduce with ContentSuggestions enabled.
vbhatsoori@: can you reproduce with it?
ContentSuggestions should be enabled by default on M63, fixing it.

It looks like this is another victim of https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=753779 . I'm not seeing any weird  search box sizing issues when I apply that fix. The issue also doesn't seem to have shown up in m63. I'm going to mark this bug as duplicate of 768000 because it seems to have the same root cause of not performing the focus omnibox action after the webstate is activated; it's just different in that on ipad pro 12.9 the fakebox stretches, while on other ipads it just fails to focus.
