SVG Rect Items with Opacity have drawing issues

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.91 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit http://output.jsbin.com/xayejijama 2. Hover around the rect elements 3. Compare output with other browsers What is the expected behavior? It should render as other browsers. What went wrong? There are rendering artefacts; the graph is not rendering correctly. Did this work before? Re comment #6, the bug you have seems to be an entirely different issue. Please file a new bug with information for reproducing your issue. Meanwhile, I can't reproduce the original reported issue in our bisect tool covering the reported revision range. keithamus@, could you please retest and verify the versions that work and those that don't. I think you have some typos in the original reported version numbers, so please double check.

Would like to add that this seems to be related to issues: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=768134 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=768207 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=768209 all of which were resolved for me (include this issue, and including the profile icons in my gif above) when I disabled GPU rasterization.

All evidence suggests this is specific to a certain class of Macs. I can't repro with a mid 2012 MacBook Pro. Passing to the GPU team in the hope they have a suitable machine to try to verify on, because I can't see what else would cause this. Could you please go to chrome://gpu on a machine that fails and paste the contents here?

Able to reproduce the issue on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 using the latest stable version 61.0.3163.100 and the latest canary 63.0.3227.0. Unable to reproduce this issue on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 14.04 using the latest Canary and Stable builds. Bisect Information: ===================== Good build: 61.0.3163.43 Bad Build : 61.0.3163.44 Unable to provide the Changelog with tool bisect as the good and bad builds are branch builds.
