Connection not private error

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.91 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Tick automatically detect settings in LAN settings
2.

What is the expected behavior?
website loads

What went wrong?
for any https site - Your connection is not private.....NET:ERR_CERT_INVALID error message is given

Did this work before? Yes previous version (error started this week on multiple networked PC's)

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.91  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)

Your computer is configured to use a network management product ( https://www.gfi.com/support/products/gfi-webmonitor/KBID003944 ) which is misconfigured on your system such that the root certificate is not trusted or there are multiple root certificates of the same name installed.

You should contact the system administrator for information on how to fix the root certificate configuration.

If this isn't a PC on a managed network, please provide more details about the system configuration, and please copy/paste the text of the error message (the big block of letters) into a reply.
