Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Connect Mouse to mobile 2. Load google.com and make sure google account is not signed in. 3. Click on More options button in top bar. 4. More options menu is shown but Sign in button in Web page is also clicked and Chrome loads the Sign in page. What is the expected behavior? Mouse click should not happen in web page when clicked on More options button in URL bar. What went wrong? Mouse click on Top bar is being propagated to Web page area and it is resulting in unwanted behavior. Did this work before? Yes Chrome stable 56 Chrome version: 60.0.3112.113 Channel: stable OS Version: 7.1.1 Flash Version: Tested on Galaxy Note 8. It seems to be like onGenericMotionEvent(event) inside EventHandler.java is handling mouse button events though the click has happened outside the web contents area.

Well, this does not seem like an issue with just one single Top view. I think any toolbar that is on top of ContentView might cause this problem again. For example, Toolbar in CustomTab or Reader may be.

The core problem has been fixed in through Issue 740855 . Please comment on that bug if you see Chrome 61 still shows the bug. |
