Chrome version: TBD
Mac OS version: TBD
Safari version: TBD
Steps to repro:
# go in to the voiceover settings and set the mouse to follow the voiceover cursor. This is necessary because some web sites, when the mouse passes over a link will expand a menu and the menu will disappear when the mouse moves away.
Personally I think this is bad design, just moving the mouse should not cause a page to change like this, either show the menu all the time or require that the link be clicked to show the menu.
# Go to taotronics.com
# navigate to the "products" element
Expected behavior:
Safari:when you come to the element that says "products," voiceover identifies it as a clickable object. If you have the mouse set to follow the voiceover cursor, it will expand and you will see the list of products.
Actual behavior:
Chrome: When navigating with voiceover, the fact that "products" is clickable is not identified by voiceover, actually, chromevox does not identify these elements as clickable either, and the list of products does not automatically expand, actually I'm not sure if it is not expanding or if voiceover is just not seeing it.
