Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.91 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Try to copy any text in browser via command-C or from Edit 2. Try to paste it 3. Does not paste what I copied, did nothing to my clipboard What is the expected behavior? To paste what I last copied What went wrong? Does not seem to update my clipboard. I will paste whatever I last copied that did not come from the browser Did this work before? Yes 60 Chrome version: 61.0.3163.91 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version:

Tested the issue on chrome latest stable #61.0.3163.91 and on latest canary #63.0.3218.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 14.04, Mac 10.12.6 and is not reproducible with steps mentioned in comment #0. @Reporter - Could you please check the issue in incognito mode and by creating a new profile. If issue still persists, install canary and check the issue. You can download canary builds from the below link https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel

Mark WontFix since it seems this is reporter's environment issue instead of Chrome issue. Step 1 in #c1 says "Try to copy any text in browser via command-C *or* from Edit". Hence, both Chrome and Edit could not put text into clipboard. See also http://crbug.com/764308 |
