Tested the issue on 61.0.3163.91 and on latest canary 63.0.3218.0 using Windows 10, Ubuntu 14.04 and is not reproducible with steps mentioned below. Navigated to youtube.com,played some video and able to hear audio. @Reporter: 1. Could you please confirm whether this issue is seen on other browsers or not? 2.Could you also try Troubleshooting steps: Go to Start,Type Troubleshoot, and then select Troubleshoot from the list of results. Select Playing Audio > Run the troubleshooter 3.If issue still persists could you also check by un-installing and re-installing chrome to latest version. You can download canary builds from the below link https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel.

Re-tested the issue again and unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7, Mac OS 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 using the latest Canary 63.0.3223.0 and latest Stable 61.0.3163.100 with the below steps. 1. Launched Chrome and navigated to www.youtube.com 2. Played a video for a while and can hear the audio without any issues. Can someone from Internals>Media team please look into this issue and help in further triaging? Thanks..
