I'm seeing two-finger flings frequently get cancelled when scrolling Gmail conversations on this caroline device. Oddly, I'm having a lot of trouble reproducing the behavior in a Wikipedia tab. It seems like *maybe* hover detection is cancelling the gesture, although I'm not completely sure about that. (Does caroline support hover detection even though it doesn't have a keyboard backlight?)
It feels a bit like similar behavior on eve that I mentioned to you. I'm not sure whether the thumb on my left hand, which is often near the upper-left corner of the touchpad, could be involved while I'm performing the gesture with my right. I'm also able to repro this when my left hand isn't anywhere near the touchpad, at least.
