Files load slowly when scrolling

Chrome Version: 63.0.3212.0 9938.0.0 Caroline

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open files app to a folder with many files. 
(2) Scroll down to view more files.


What is the expected result?
The rest of the folder is immediately displayed.

What happens instead?
No files are shown when scrolling, page is white and files fill in after a little while. This behavior stays every time I scroll back and forth in the folder.
