IChrome Stock Widgets not updating. Stuck in November 2016 prices. Will not hold customization

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.79 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Customize Stock Widget
2. Save
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
My selections to show up on my IChrome Homepage

What went wrong?
Stuck on NOvember 16th, 2016

WebStore page: IChrome

Did this work before? Yes Worked up to last week

@ddavis63: Could you please provide the step-by-step details and extension links used to reproduce this issue

 Eg: If you have added extension "iChrome - A Fast, Productive Home Page"
(i)Go to 3dot menu, right click on the added extension Icon, 
(ii)click on "iChrome - A Fast, Productive Home Page"
(iii)Extension opens, copy and share the extension link

Please find enclosed screencast and confirm if it is the correct steps to reproduce the issue

THE IChrome Extension was added.  Then I am tring to customize my HOME PAGE and go to the WIDGETS in IChrome.  It’s that Stock Widget that is stuck in November 2016

As you can see, the issue status is "unconfirmed".

Why do you expect Chrome/Chromium developers would work on it, by the way? Usually such problems are caused by a third-party factor e.g. that finance widget depends on an external server that provides the information so if they suddenly changed something in their freeware protocol, that extension's developer needs to update their code, not the browser developers.
