no problem after kill all chrome.exe, and restart it.
for information I connect to internet through hotspot that required login/pass.

I've also seen this on my corp gwin machine.

There's a message that flashes at the bottom of the browser from time to time: waiting for extension hangouts

In this mode, chrome is stealing the keyboard focus (so you can't type into any other window - all input goes to the login account window)

Running chrome --profile=FAKE didn't help.

I've seen flashes of "waiting for hangouts extension" in the bottom line of the browser (I think).

Tried this issue on Windows 7 using the latest Canary 63.0.3215.0 and latest Stable 61.0.3163.91 with the below steps,

1. Launched Chrome and opened two chrome profiles.
2. Navigated to chrome://chrome-signin/?access_point=6&reason=0 in both the chrome profiles.
3. In the second profile, started typing in the email textbox and switched to the first chrome profile and entered text in the email textbox,
4. Clicked on the second Chrome Profile page and can observe that the focus is still on the textbox.
5. Closed the second chrome profile page and can observe the focus still on the textboxin the first chrome profile.

Hi,
I never open chrome://chrome-signin/?access_point=6&reason=0
step:
1/I connected my corp PC to wifi (it's hotspot that required authentification)
2/open Chrome (not sure if I open immediately the 2 session), access to portail wifi webpage and log in.
3/open my 'David' chrome session with Gmail (or refresh page that say certificat is bad= normal if not logged in wifi portail), and close portail login tab in 'CSC' chrome session.
4/after more second new chrome 'CSC' session windows automaticaly opened with this 'chrome://chrome-signin/?access_point=6&reason=0' (screenshot previously sent)
5/return to my 'David' session to type email
each 10 sec I loss focus and return to 'CSC' session with the url 'chrome://chrome-signin/?access_point=6&reason=0'
-Close tab not solve, and each 10sec new tab opened in 'CSC' session.

I think it's linked to chrome syncing for favorite,password... failed because not connected to internet when start and all traffic redirected to TLS wifi portail webpage(hotspot) before log in to access internet.

I can check if can reproduce it the next few day
Is there any logs, debug or command to check if I reproduce the problem?

I reproduce the same problem this day.

The PC remained connected to a wifi hotspot whose session has expired. When the session has expired, the requests are all sent to a secure login page.
Chrome keeps opening chrome: //chrome-signin/ ... every 30 seconds; even after connecting to the internet (login on the hotspot).
workaround: close all chrome session (and background); start chrome.

It's a problem with sync; when open chrome it's say sync problem.
