wifi connectivity is fine (never drops), but in the middle of a hangout, the internet dies. (I can't even do a google search). It takes a few minutes for it to recover. 

note, this isn't an issue with my home internet connection, because my laptop next to my buddy has a connection the entire time and the Buddy itself has wifi service just fine.

it's most noticeable during a hangout, it feels like the buddy is running out of ram (the hangout starts to lag, with the video freezing for several seconds), and then I eventually lose all internet connection.
