Pressing Space After Keyword With Cleaned-Up Text Doesn't Enter Keyword Mode

Project Member Reported by mpear...@chromium.org, Sep 13 2017

Issue description

If I have a keyword foo.com, and I type "http://foo.com" and then press space, I do not enter keyword mode. Ditto with "www.foo.com" then pressing space. Pressing tab works.

Apparently one can only enter keyword mode by typing the exact keyword then pressing space.

Oh! I thought this was specific to special symbols in some way, like, if you typed the exact keyword and hit space, but the keyword had special symbols, it wouldn't work.

I didn't think through this enough before asking for this bug + I forgot the context + I was legit confused.

What you describe is intentional. Space should only trigger keywords that have been typed exactly. Tab is intended to be more forgiving. Without this, users would likely get into keyword mode too often and be irritated.

Sorry for the run-around :(
