Regression : In Sign-out screen 'Error Icon' at Account is seen missing when Account is not Synced en missing |

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 60.0.3112.114/9592.94.0 Stable-channel Daisy,Candy and Minnie OS: Chrome What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Sign into User which has Sync Passphrase -> Don't enter Sync passphrase Details (2)Now click on Uber Tray and click on 'Sign-out' -> In Sign-out screen observe for 'Error Icon' at Account which indicating that Account is not Synced (please refer Video) Expected: In Sign-out screen 'Error Icon' at Account should be seen when Account is not Synced Actual: Instead 'Error Icon' at Account is seen missing @wzang: Please confirm the Issue Note : Issue is also seen on latest M-63

Since the old UI is deprecated, can you check if it's happening in the latest build? (preferably M61 or later)

As per comment #2 Checked Issue on Latest Build(63.0.3212/9939.0.0),M-61 Beta build(61.0.3163.90/9765.63.0)and Able to repro the Issue.

The icon on sign-in screen is for indicating whether the user's LST is still valid, allowing them to sign in to the device, not whether sync is enabled/working. WAI.

Yes, confirming - we don't expect an error icon on the login page for when Sync is not working, only for when the account itself has a token revoked (due to password change or other security incident). |
