Complete Android Oreo shutdown when opening new tab

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Browse 2. Open new tab 3. Sometimes everything freezes 4. Then it crashes Android Oreo What is the expected behavior? New tab opens, not freezing and not crashing my phone. What went wrong? Something important probably. Probably related to Android Oreo. Crashed report ID: No How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? Yes Android Nougat Chrome version: 60.0.3112.116 Channel: stable OS Version: 8.0.0 Flash Version: At least it has already opened the tab when the phone restarts.

Unable to reproduce the issue in Android. No Crash or freezing behavior is observed on opening new tab or browsing for some time. Steps Followed 1. Launched Browser 2. Opened New tab 3. No Crash or freezing behavior is observed Chrome versions tested 60.0.3112.116 OS Android 8.0.0 Android Devices Pixel Build/OPR1 170623.027 @storystratos: Could you please clear the cache and browsing data of your browser and update your'e Chrome to the latest version and check if you still face the issue? If so navigate to chrome://crashes and attach a sample Crash serever I'd for further triaging of the issue. Thanks!!
