Unfortunately cannot reproduce in latest canary- 63.0.3213.0 in Win 10 and Mac 10.12.6. By any chance are you using any extension? If yes, please disable them and try again.

Mark WontFix since I could not reproduce. Change components to "UI>Browser>Omnibox" since #c1 uses omnibox instead of Blink. I have a same experience that failed to put selected text into clipboard, either Blink and Omnibox. My situation is caused by message box popped up by some tab. However, I'm not sure which type of message box. On quick test, JS alert(), JS prompt(), unload dialog don't cause clipboard issue.

drive-by: It's possible this may have been fixed by the same change that fixed bug 756855 . (Not knowing how iOS and Mac code overlap, I can't say for certain.) |
