Unable to change Developer mode to normal (gbb.flags is 39)

ChromeOs: 9765.61.0/61.0.3163.87
Devices: Cyan, Samus and Minnie 

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Device Should be on Developer mode
(2)after Power ON, Press space key to move to Normal mode


What is the expected result?
Should goto Normal mode.

What happens instead?
very quickly device screen moved chrome flash screen. its not accepting if you press space key very quick.

gbb_flags is 39. I think it should be 0.

Raju discussed this with me, the timing is change due to 0x39 and your space press was not register.  The work around is to change the gbb to 0.

Does this happen if you change to normal mode first then recover ?

No its not repro with below two cases.

Test#1
Change to normal mode and install recovery

Test #2
Device on Dev mode
Install M60 and AU to M61
Reboot the device after successful AU.
