Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.78 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Use Chrome for a while (1 hour at least) with two or three tabs opened 2. Check Task Manager RAM and CPU usage What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? High RAM and CPU usage even when not playing any website videos eg. youtube. Youtube videos not working smooth, lag a lot. Did this work before? Yes 58 I think Chrome version: 60.0.3112.78 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0 See attached screenshot.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Reported version 60.0.3112.78, Stable 61.0.3163.79 and latest canary 63.0.3212.0 using Windows 10. Could you please try following below steps and let us know the update 1. Go to the Chrome menu ≡ and then go to Settings 2. Scroll down to 'Show advanced settings...' and click on it 3. Scroll down to 'System' and uncheck the box that says 'Use software acceleration when possible. 4. Restart Chrome

We are still not able to reproduce the issue on windows 10 using chrome M62 #62.0.3202.94 . @As there is no feedback from the user from long time ... closing this issue for now. Please feel free to raise a new iissue , if any issues in latest chrome channels. Thanks! |
