I have recently updated to Chrome 61.0.3163.79 (64-bit) and it seems that this issue is happening again. Maybe is some kind of regression.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #61.0.3163.79 and latest dev #62.0.3202.18.

After browsing on pages with images, the images were displayed correctly as expected.

Attached a screen shot for reference.

alexviscreanu@ - Could you please check this issue on latest dev #62.0.3202.18 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not.

Thanks...!!

After resetting the chrome user the issue seems to be fixed. Maybe the last update changed something on the configuration that was incompatible with the old version...

But yeah, this issue can be closed as on fresh chrome installation all is fine.

Thanks!
