Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3210.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a new tab in Chrome Canary (Version 63.0.3210.0). 2. Press F1 key to open Settings modal. 3. Press F1 key again. What is the expected behavior? The Settings modal will disappear. What went wrong? Nothing happens. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 62.0.3202.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.12.5 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 27.0 r0 I'm not sure whether this is by design. I see that I can dismiss the Settings modal by pressing the Escape key, but perhaps it would be more intuitive to simply have the Function key behave like a toggle.

Able to reproduce the issue on Mac os 10.12.6 , windows 7 and ubuntu 14.04 using chrome M61 #61.0.3163.79 and M63 #63.0.3212.0. This issue is seen from M50 and is a Non-Regression issue. Marking it as untraiged for further inputs on this. Thanks!

I can see the reason for this but.... ESC is the devtools way for exiting. I don't see us prioritizing adding this hotkey soon. Thanks for filing but i'm going to close this. Cheers. |
