Downloaded files go to the wrong path

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 63.0.3208.0
OS Version: OS X 10.12.6
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari 5: na
  Firefox 4.x: na
     IE 7/8/9: na

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download any file from any site

What is the expected result?
The downloaded file appears in the expected folder as specified in the settings

What happens instead of that?
The file is downloaded but put in the following path: /private/var/folders/6n/5zdxn_y52hz5rtgx9npnkyn40000gn/T

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Also, changing the designated folder does not change the result

UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3208.0 Safari/537.36

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.12.6 with chrome #63.0.3208.0, #63.0.3209.0

Observed that file downloading as expected in the specified folder in the settings.

Attaching the screen-cast for reference.

gioaudino91@ Could you please the same scenario on clean profile with no apps/extensions and let us know your observations.

It got fixed with version 63.0.3212.0
I can downgrade and try if necessary
