Inline autocomplete splitting vowels from characters in Thai

Reported by asunhemr...@gmail.com, Sep 8 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version : <from About Google Chrome/Chromium>
URLs (if applicable) :
OS version : macOS Sierra
Behavior in Safari (if applicable):
Behavior in Firefox (if applicable):

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) When user typed Thai keyword in search and address box, i.e. "เรียนต่อ", for the first time, it works correctly.
(2) Later when retype the same keyword in search and address box, Chrome incorrectly pre populate the field of which skipped the alphabet before the upper vowel.
(3) This defect cannot simply fixed by retype the alphabet, it only can be fixed by delete cash.

What is the expected result?
When type the keyword which was typed before, chrome should pre populate the matched keyword and let user type that keyword until finish.

What happens instead?
The alphabet before the upper vowel in Thai language was delete and replaced by the vowel which cause the mistype and incorrect word search.

Thanks for reporting!

What IME are you using? Is it the built-in Mac one or something else?
This happened in all Macbook Pro and Macbook Air using in my office. For my Macbook Air's serial no. is C1MS1VFXH3QF. This defect does not happen in Windows.
I'd still like to know what method you're using to enter Thai characters into the text box. Is it the default "Thai" one built-in to Mac or the "Thai - Pattachote" one?

thanks!

Actually, nevermind, I can reproduce this issue (with both input method types).

Merging this bug into a different description of the same bug.
