Wrong icon used for omnibox calculator results with favicon experiment on

Project Member Reported by pkasting@chromium.org, Sep 8 2017

Issue description

I turned on the favicon experiment for the omnibox dropdown. Most calculator results look correct, but I tried typing in "125000/21" and got the favicon of Redfin, a site in my local history. See attached image.

This does not reproduce with various other input strings on the same profile, and the icon in the omnibox is correct; just the dropdown is wrong. (That makes sense, because the omnibox doesn't show favicons with this experiment on.)

The about:omnibox output is innocuous; the URL for the calculator result is still on https://www.google.com.

Can confirm. Thanks for the report!

I was able to reproduce this with build 3207. I would expect this landed CL to have fixed it: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/646642

Indeed I cannot reproduce it with build 3211. I expect any builds 3209 and later to have this already fixed.

Can you repro this with any builds 3209 or later?
Dunno. Dev is 3202.9 on my work box, didn't check at home where I was seeing this. If you're reasonably sure it's fixed I'll assume that's correct.
