@battre yes, sync is enabled (for that first orange acc on image) @jmukthavaram In Canary 63.0.3208.0 x64 password field is auto populated (works fine) In stable 61.0.3163.79 x64 doesn't work...I have to choose password from drop-down Sometimes! it gets auto populated if I click on the acc that I used last in previous session (like it remembers last used acc)

Able to reproduce the issue on windows 10 & 7 , ubuntu 14.04 and mac os 10.12.6 using chrome M61 #61.0.3163.79 and issue got fixed in latest canary M63 #63.0.3208.0. Issue is fixed in M62 and providing reverse-bisect results using bisect script, Good build: 62.0.3194.0(Revision: 496533). Bad build: 62.0.3193.0 (Revision: 496151). You are probably looking for a change made after 496381 (known good), but no later than 496382 (first known bad). CHANGELOG URL: The script might not always return single CL as suspect as some perf builds might get missing due to failure. https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/91bd56ff86e07a34c08810066bc5f493bb8bc286..4e2e8d1b7ed48de0c8ddc096e9daa8c5750f470b From the CL above, assigning the issue to the concern owner @Vadym Doroshenko- Could you please merge the fix to M61 . It's fixed in M-62 (it will be soon in beta and in stable in mid-October). M-61 is already in stable, only security bugs and crashes can be merged so late. Anyway this bug is not so bad, since the user can click on a password field and to choose to fill the correct password. And Chrome fills correctly the last used gmail.com account, so in many case it still fills. |
