Remove code added for compatibility between old and new architecture

During the conversion into the new architecture some code might be added to have a compatibility between the two in the reused components. For example a ViewController might have a property to know if a view specific to the old architecture has been added.

This bug should be used to track this code, in order to have an easy way to remove it once the transition is completed.

I don't know which components or label we should use for general new architecture work. Any idea?

I assume we're going to have a lot of similar bugs in near future, should we create a component for clean skeleton or Bijou?
