Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Extract the attachment 2. Place: chromedriver in out/Default test.html in /tmp/ chromium-canary binary in /tmp/chrome-linux/chrome 3. run mvn clean install -P test inside "samples" directory. What is the expected behavior? Must print "Привет" - like python version or stable chrome version (just comment out options.setBinary line) What went wrong? Prints ゚タᄌᄇᄉツ Did this work before? Yes beta, at least Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 63.0.3206.0 Channel: stable OS Version: Ubuntu 16.04 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 19.0 r0

>I think this should be filed under https://crbug.com/chromedriver instead Done: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromedriver/issues/detail?id=1977 but to be precisely - chromedriver compiled from latest sources doesn't produce this bug with stable chrome, but only with canary version.
