When pasting an URL with consecutive white spaces the spaces are replaced by just one of them.

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/61.0.3159.5 Chrome/61.0.3159.5 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Paste this into location bar: http://localhost/two  white spaces

What is the expected behavior?
Location is equal to http://localhost/two  white spaces

What went wrong?
Location is equal to Location is equal to http://localhost/two white spaces
There is a missing white space after "two"

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 61.0.3159.5  Channel: n/a
OS Version: elementary OS 0.4.1 Loki
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0

Tested on reported latest Stable #61.0.3163.79 and latest Canary #63.0.3206.0	 on Windows 7, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.12.6 and able to reproduce the issue for M-50 #50.0.2624.0.

Observations:
1. When any URL is copied with empty spaces in the beginning or following the URL, spaces are not pasted in the Omni box.
2. Similar behavior is observed in FireFox.

Can someone from dev team please look into this issue.

This is intentional.  Workaround: use %20 to escape spaces when you want to preserve multiple consecutive spaces.

This behavior is especially useful when pasting multi-line input as a search query.  The case where people want consecutive spaces preserved is pretty rare.
