Tested the issue on latest canary 63.0.3205.0 and 61.0.3163.71 on Ubuntu 14.04 , Mac 10.12.6 and Windows 7 and is not reproducible with steps mentioned in Comment#0.

@ keith.pantlin: Stable will soon be moving to M-61 and this seems to be working fine there on M-61 and M-63 latest canary , Could you please check the same on chrome latest version from https://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel and check from your side.

Thanks!

It looks the original test case is gone, I am seeing "page not found" error page.
keith.pantlin, could you restore the test case somewhere?
Otherwise it is hard to track down what is the issue.

Not sure why, but my Comment 3 above has been deleted. In that comment I reported that Chrome (Version 61.0.3163.79 (Official Build) (64-bit)), which was released on the 6 September fixed my problem, and so I removed the test page.

Good to hear the problem was fixed!
And sorry for the trouble, for the comment accidentally(?) deleted.

I'm closing the issue as Fixed, and thanks for your report!
