"Add to Home screen" option on Chrome for Android for Work

Device model : Xperia X SO-02J 


Description:
"Add to Home screen" option for Android for Work seems to be disabled intentionally according to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=523820 , but option is available in Chrome settings, which is confusing.   

Steps to reproduce: 

1. Set up Android device (Enable work profile). 
2. Navigate to any web site in Managed Chrome. 
3. Click the menu button. 
4. Select "Add to Home Screen". 
5. Accept title and icon by hitting Add. 
6. Return to home screen, and confirm the absence (or presence) of the shortcut icon. 

Current Behavior / Reproduction: 

"Add to Home Screen" appears but does not work

Expected Behavior:

"Add to Home Screen" does not appear (or appear and work)

We were not able to reproduce with test devices (Android 6.0.1, Nexus 5; Samsung S6, Android 7.0 ). 
On test environment, "Add to Home Screen" did not appear in Chrome menu

This is due to OS limitations. However, it is fixed in Android O; you will be able to add to homescreen in the work profile thanks to a new add to homescreen API.

I'm not sure why "Add to homescreen" is appearing in the menu though. That feels like a something we should be able to handle properly.

Just to update the, Tested the issue using #60.0.3112.116 on Android 8.0.0 Nexus 6P and Able to add the page to home screen and launch successfully as per the steps mentioned in comment #0.

As far as I can work out, Add to Home screen isn't in the menu when it's not available. Please file a new bug if you can reproduce a case where we display Add to Home screen in the menu, and it doesn't work. Thanks!
