Pinch-zoom locks up renderer (or causes it to stop rendering) in Dev Channel on Android |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 62.0.3199.4 (Official build) dev (32-bit) OS: Android 8.0.0; Pixel Build/OPR6.170623.012 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Go to https://mobile.twitter.com (2) Tap any image embedded in a tweet (3) Attempt to pinch-zoom in What is the expected result? Expect to navigate around the image. What happens instead? The renderer process frequently and apparently locks up. The browser appears to still be interactive and new tabs can be created. Sometimes switching between tabs causes the renderer to start working again. However, this breaks the Twitter Lite WebAPK completely since it's effectively single-tab. This appears to be a new regression in the latest Dev. It's hard to tell because the previous ones were broken pretty badly (see Issue 755636). Marking P1, ReleaseBlock-Beta.

Actually I'm not sure that this is the same issue I was looking into. I'm starting a bisect now.

Pretty sure it's a dupe now. |
