Typing on text input field on focus do not work in android chrome on page with basic authentication prompt

Issue description

Chrome Version       :  60.0.3112.89
URLs (if applicable) : -
Other browsers tested:
    Android Firefox: OK
    Android Default Browser: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Log in to a page with basic authenticate prompt(Cache should be cleared or try in incognito mode)
(2) Click on a text input field to focus it
(3) Type something

What is the expected result?
Input caret is visible and typed text appear in the input field


What happens instead?
Input caret is missing and typed text did not appear in the input field

Apology, the version should be 60.0.3112.107

Additionally the bug will correct itself when I switch tabs.

It seems the issue is related to OS-android. Hence adding proper OS label.
