Bo, are you familiar with this?

This issue is not reproducible in the newest version of WebView, but lidasong19890315@ wants to know if there is a workaround for old versions (M57, M58), I highly doubt the existence of such workaround though.

> 4. How can I get gpu info from mobile's webview?
Open Chrome, go to chrome://gpu, then take screenshots.

Thanks for your continued help. I touched the screenshots of 'gpu' in mobile chrome broswer (M58).

I don't know.. does this require that app specifically, or does it reproduce by navigating to that page in any webview browser? does this reproduce in chrome on the same device? does this reproduce on a different device with a different gpu?

Hi, boliu:
1、the bug also produce in other hybrid app in our OS.
2、To mobile chrome in M58, the url didnt show constancy black, but if I 'back home' and 'reopen chrome' frequently, it will blink black shortly.

lidasong19890315@, hmm.., that is also repro in Chrome M58, then I guess there was a real issue and had been fixed in later version. Even we can identify what the issue was, I still don't think you can do anything effective on WebView API level. If the issue happens more frequently on the webpage you were given than a regular webpage, the best hope is to identify what's going on for this webpage IMO.

Closing this as won't fix, we have no action can take on our side since the issue is obsoleted. Feel free to reopen or file another issue if you think there is anything we could do for the latest version of WebView.
