XML not displayed (white screen) when XSL URL is invald

Reported by paulschr...@gmail.com, Aug 30 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 60.0.3112.113
OS Version: OS X 10.12.6
URLs (if applicable) : https://www.espn.com/espnradio/feeds/rss/podcast.xml?id=14554755

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to https://www.espn.com/espnradio/feeds/rss/podcast.xml?id=14554755

What is the expected result?
XML is rendered

What happens instead of that?
Blank white page

UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.113 Safari/537.36

Here's the beginning of the RSS:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <?xml-stylesheet href="http://www.espn.com/rss/friendlyRSSPodcastv3.xsl"  type="application/xml" media="screen"?>
    <rss xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0">

The problem is due to http://www.espn.com/rss/friendlyRSSPodcastv3.xsl being invalid (404).

If the XSL URL is invalid, I would expect Chrome to render the XML using its default rendering instead of showing nothing.

Components: Blink>XML
Actually, the issue is that it's a cross-origin URL. If you go to http://www.espn.com/espnradio/feeds/rss/podcast.xml?id=14554755, it will fail with 404 (And the page will still be blank).
