I just noticed that this is not always reproducible. But it does happen. I have no idea what causes this behavior.

Tested on reported version #62.0.3198.0 and latest Canary #62.0.3202.0 and behavior seems to be similar. If the user is redirected to any webpage and perform keyboard action "Shift+Command+B" Bookmarks bar seems to be toggled. But, if the user opens a new tab page and perform keyboard action "Shift+Command+B" then Bookmarks bar doesn't seems to dismiss. Which is same as Issue 697604 (Attached the Screencast for reference. Similar behavior is observed on Windows 7, Mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04) @agektmr-- could you please confirm whether the issue noticed by you is same as the behavior mentioned above or any different scenario. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by redirect. I've tried http://yahoo.co.jp -> https://www.yahoo.co.jp but still can't toggle the bookmark bar. It still sometimes work, though I don't know what triggers it.

Toggling the bookmarks shows different behavior in below two scenarios: 1. Open any website, and perform keyboard action "Shift+Command+B", Bookmarks bar can be seen toggled. 2. Open a new tab page, by performing keyboard action "Command+T", and then perform keyboard action "Shift+Command+B", bookmarks bar is not completely dismissed. (There is any issue filed for it, Issue 697604 ). Please refer the screencast attached to C#6 for reference. @agektmr -- Could you please try by removing the extensions and creating a new profile to verify if the issue still persists. You can also try by updating your Canary to latest version #63.0.3205.0. Thanks in advance.

I have 5 profiles created here including one without any extensions but the issue still reproduces regardless of profile or installed extensions. Also I tried with Version 63.0.3205.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit).

rsesek@, mehmet@ -- Could you please look into this issue as the issue is not able to reproduce at TE's end. Thanks in advance.

Hello agektmr@ Are you talking about toggling the Bookmark Bar on the NewTabPage? Does it toggle when you do it via the Menu Bar? Can you reproduce it on another Mac Device? Can you try it with another macOS User Account on the same Device? Thanks.

OK, I found the culprit. I was using an app called Clipy (https://clipy-app.com/) and this was absorbing all my Shift+Command+B shortcuts. Figured when I created a new account and installed Chrome only and tried the behavior as mehmet@ suggested. Sorry for consuming your time. Resolving the issue.
