Playstore: Server communication error is seen frequently when clicked on Google privacy policy links |

Issue descriptionChrome OS version: 9765.48.0, 61.0.3163.70 beta build Tested on M-61 beta channel caroline device. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. During ARC++ opt-in and land on Google Play Terms of Service page. 2. Inside the TOS page, click on 'Google Play Help Center link' for the first time. Server communication error is thrown. 3. Click on the same link again, Google play help center is loaded. 4. Click on 'Google privacy policy' link, Server communication error is thrown. 5. Click on the same link, privacy policy terms are loaded. 6. Repeat steps 2-5. First attempt, server communication error is thrown. Second attempt, page is loaded. Expected behavior: Respective pages should be loaded when clicked on privacy policy/ Google help center links and no network connectivity problems are seen. Please refer the video. This issue is frequently occurring.

One more issue to note: I see that 'send feedback' button (i.e. next to Try again button) is not available on Google Play error page, specifically in this case.

#5 - this is made intentionally. We send feedback only for limited set of errors. Factually almost all but except this one. It is probably good to send this for this error too.

I am closing this now. We could not repro this issue. I was constantly trying repro it on diff builds during the long period of time. but so far without success. Please reopen this if this is still observed. |
