Cannot reproduce this on Chrome 60.0.3112.101 (stable) with Windows 10. A few questions: (1) What printer and driver are you using? (2) Does this happen with all printers? Can you reproduce the issue using a virtual printer, e.g. XPS Document Writer? (3) Does this happen with all PDFs or only certain PDFs? If only with certain PDFs, is there one you can share that does not print correctly?

Are you using Chrome's built in PDF viewer, or another PDF viewer? Can you attach a picture of a distorted print out? If possible, also the PDF that generated the distorted print out.

good questions, I am using a brother hl-2070n and an HP Photosmart 5520. I tried to reproduce on OSX Chrome version without success. When printing to PDF or otherwise it works fine. In fact, I print to PDF and then print to paper as a workaround.

Do you know what DPI setting you are using? Also, does this also happen when printing webpages? Don't have either printer here to reproduce the issue, but it looks like both these printers may have rectangular DPI settings, which are not currently supported. That would probably also result in distorted webpage printouts, though; not sure why it would only impact PDF printing. Can you answer the questions in comment 4?

Rechecked the issue using chrome version 61.0.3163.100 on Windows 10 by downloading some pdf files with some high graphics and checking the print. No distortion was viewed on the printed pages. Closing the issue as did not hear back from user again on this. Please feel free to raise a new issue or reopen if the issue still persists. Thanks.! |
