Able to reproduce this issue on Windows-10, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac OS 10.12.6 using chrome latest stable #60.0.3112.113 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. Observed the cursor doesn't blink until the user manually clicks on the element.

Tested the same on chrome M45-45.0.1454.85 and observed issue is seen on older version as well, Considering the above issue as non regession and marking it as untriaged.

Thanks!

I think <input type=text> savvy folks, please help to triage and handle this one. For the DataTransfer aspects of DnD, pwnall@ is a good contact.

Mark WontFix because it works as expected.

In the sample "<div draggable="true">Draggable</div>" is draggable but it isn't
droppable into INPUT.

Sorry for my confusion, but that doesn't seem to be the issue. The Draggable element is NOT being dropped into INPUT, the drop event simply triggers INPUT to be focused.

Additionally, making the INPUT a drop target doesn't fix the problem: http://jsbin.com/kijibusoro/edit?html,js,output
