I'm on a chromebook pixel ls and this is happening to me also. I've found that, if I minimize all the windows, then go back to the browser, the issue is resolved. It seems to be an issue with android apps, either full screen or floating, somehow corrupting some video buffers. But only in new tabs, not existing ones. It also shows data from other windows sometimes, and I'm also able to pinch/zoom in and it generates yet more squares of other window buffers. Very strange...

This is happening on the Lock screen now too, I've noticed, with the latest build. Which is concerning, since it shows the contents of windows even though the machine is locked. Here is a video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fce7LVuCfPE7qSsk1 You can see one of the squares flashing, too, like it's the cursor... So weird. When the mouse is moved, the squares go haywire. Not in dev mode. Version 61.0.3163.110 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) Chromebook Pixel LS

Just cross-referencing these... I believe these are the same issue: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=766799
