Chrome Version: 62.0.3196.0
OS: Linux 14.04.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch Chrome and log into Facebook and Gmail with valid Credentials and Save Password from bubble.
(2) Navigate to chrome://settings/passwords and under saved passwords click on Show password.


What is the expected result?
User should be prompted with Password pop-up asking for system password.


What happens instead?
No password prompt is asked when clicked on show password.

Note: Also saved password for a banking site and was able to view the password.

This issue is specific to Linux only.
On Mac and Windows the password pop-up is displayed at where System password has to be entered for viewing passwords.

This is a Non-Regression Issue seen from M50# 50.0.2624.0. Could some one from Browser team or security team please look into the issue and provide an update.
