As confirmed with customer, workaround that worked for them was changing Chrome theme to one of the following: * https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bluegreen-cubes/iipbjjaibkibpabddphfcgbngfhhfkml * https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/yellow-gray/hjjpfcijenpdoikhcookidaifonmohii * https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/yellow-and-red/hkibhihmcooflfmjokfiabljpifelcac They want to be able to use the default theme.

I also have this bug on my Lenovo Yoga 500-14ISK with hybrid graphics system (Intel HD Graphics 520 + NVIDIA GeForce 940M). But it only happens when launching Google Chrome on Intel HD Graphics 520, when using a discrete GPU from NVIDIA it works good. But it's not the solution. It's a workaround. When using Google Chrome on a discrete GPU my laptop drains battery and produces more heat and noise (the fans are switching on). Disabling hardware acceleration is also only a workaround because web browser is then less responsive. This bug is so irritating that I had to switch to another web browser recently on this device.

I don't think so. The failure happens in the command buffer. cc'ing owners.
